At Keys for Success, we serve a wide variety of populations. We tailor our services to the individuals and groups that we work with, making each experience unique and promoting success for all.
Individual Sessions
We provide weekly individual sessions for individuals of all ages to help overcome challenges in a variety of areas and needs. Following a music therapy assessment, specific goals are developed and worked toward in each session using many techniques, including playing instruments, moving to music, singing, listening to music, and songwriting.
Goal areas include:
Communication
Social skills
Fine and gross motor skills
Cognitive skills
Emotional expression
Group Sessions
We provide group services to a variety of populations. You can find us promoting social connections during a drum circle with a group of elderly adults, fostering social skills in a rock band with teens with special needs, building leadership skills through group drumming in an elementary classroom, or playing guitar and teaching a counting song with a group of preschoolers. Check out our Group Programming page for more information on current offerings.
Virtual Music Therapy
Both individual and group music therapy may be provided virtually via platforms such as Zoom or Teams. Interactive sessions are conducted in real time with individuals utilizing instruments from their home or other materials to engage in music making, songwriting, and other music experiences. Only covered under specific funding sources.
Community Engagement
We love to share our music with the community. From holiday and seasonal concerts, to nursing home performances, to community music making groups, our therapists and clients love to bring the music to you. Let us know your ideas and how we can work with your group or team.
